The birds are chirping - flowers are blooming & light is returning in the northern hemisphere......but WHY do we see mental health issues spike around this time of year?
My initial thought from the lens of circadian biology would be that there is more light creating signaling more cortisol - hydration needs shift & the DST time change..........And while that's getting closer to the answer - it's likely not the whole story.
