What is sub optimal information?

If you’re struggling with a slow metabolism, you might be surprised to learn about some common factors that could be contributing to the issue. Let’s explore the key culprits that many people tend to miss:

1. Highly Processed Foods: Consuming highly processed foods can significantly impact your metabolic health. These foods force your mitochondria to work overtime, putting stress on your cells and leading to a decline in energy production. Additionally, many processed foods contain high levels of deuterium, which can jam up the nanometers in your mitochondria, ultimately resulting in less energy production overall.

2. Eating Late at Night or too close to bed: If you’re in the habit of late-night eating or snacking, it’s time to reconsider. Eating after dark makes your body work harder to digest food, which can lead to increased inflammation. As the sun sets, your body experiences reduced stomach acid and enzymatic function, as well as decreased insulin sensitivity, all of which can hinder metabolic efficiency and blunt cellular repair that needs to happen to optimize your metabolism.

3. Frequent Eating: While snacking can be tempting, frequent eating may cause your body to develop leptin and insulin resistance over time. This disruption can significantly impact your metabolic health, making it harder for your body to properly regulate hunger and energy levels.

4. Dim Mornings: Exposure to bright light in the morning is essential for signaling to your body that it’s time to wake up. When mornings are dim, it can confuse your internal clock, preventing your body from activating daytime functions such as releasing appropriate amounts of cortisol and firing up your digestive system. This misalignment can slow down your metabolism.

5. Bright Nights: Lastly, exposure to bright light during the evening can trick your body into thinking it’s still daytime. This miscommunication throws off your hormonal balance and cellular programs, preventing your body from running crucial repair processes that are designed to optimize metabolism.

These things sound too simple to be true, but they make a massive difference when combined to support a healthy metabolism, prevent disease AND improve your energy!
