What's a big deal & What's actually NOT? Gaslighting & fear tactics.....Cutting through the noise - My top 5 recommendations
Cutting through the noise - What's actually important? My top 5!
As I mentioned in yesterday's email - I feel like I spend half my time "de-bunking" social media posts that my group members are sending me about yet another thing that someone else has told them to be afraid of.
The thing is: more and more people are less enamored with celebrities & Hollywood these days; and are more trusting of what people online have to say.
My husband's favorite platform is X (and I'm not there on purpose π ), and it seems like every single day he is showing me something that I see as "regurgitated fear mongering"....to put it lightly.
So today I want to help you go back to basics & cut through the noise a bit. I will give you my top 5 Health Basics - as well as a few tips that can help you cut through a lot of the noise & make your own judgment calls.

Let's talk about these & what's actually important?
Why I'm fired up π«£
Last week I had a group member who was extremely upset, because she bought a Reverse Osmosis system & was told by a Health Influencer that it had been a total waste of money......Why? Because supposedly the water would be "dead forever" after going through the RO system. π
This is completely untrue, and Carrie & I have decided to devote next week's Quantum Conversations episode entirely to talking about water - physics - revitalizing & structuring. (click here to make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss it when it comes out next Friday).
Come to find out - the person making these claims on water was also selling a $5,000 water system.
Now - I do recommend products that I use and trust personally, but I always do my best not to make it "fear based" recommending (which is 100% what that was).
The last thing I want you to do is buy something because you are afraid - nor do I ever want to invoke fear in any of my content. My intention is always to provide information & let you come to your own conclusion.
The problem is that the "Guru" mindset (as I call it) - is alive and well......AND - this situation does not end well as it teaches people nothing about learning how to trust their own intuition and make their own decisions about their health.
I know this type of confusion & outsourcing intimately - as I have dealt with it in my daughter's health journey with non speaking severe autism - PANS/PANDAS for the last 17 years - my own health journey with autoimmune conditions, depression, weight loss resistance and infertility, and even more recently while trying to figure out my son's eczema (I'll share more on that one soon - I promise).
The major success story that I can share out of all of this is that - while I still make mistakes - I am much more trusting & acquainted with my own intuition. How did I get here?
These are the top 5 things I think everyone should do to get reacquainted with their health & intuition:
In the quest for better health, it's easy to fall into the trap of seeking external validation or guidance from "gurus." However, reconnecting with your intuition begins with focusing on these five essential elements:
Light Exposure: Natural light plays a vital role in regulating your nervous system, metabolism and mood. Sufficient sunlight exposure, particularly in the morning, helps boost your energy, metabolism & important neurotransmitters that allow you to start making better decisions, and falling for fear based - quick fix solutions.
Nutrition: A focus on whole foods and mindful meal timing supports optimal health & blood sugar levels. Nourishing your body with nutrient-dense, unprocessed foods allows you to listen to your hunger cues and make choices that feel right for you....further putting you back in touch with your body.
Optimizing Sleep: Quality sleep is essential for physical and mental health. Prioritizing restorative sleep enhances recovery, mood, and cognitive function, enabling you to trust your instincts & make decisions from a more grounded place.
Nervous System Regulation: A balanced nervous system fosters a greater sense of calm and clarity, allowing you to connect with your intuition more effectively. (Steps 1-4 can be enough for many people to start having a more regulated nervous system overall)
In my opinion - embracing these 5 components of health can be the first step in allowing you to let go of the "outsourcing" mindset and reclaim ownership of your health.
With my private clients - that's where I am always trying to take them! I don't want anyone to rely on me indefinitely as the power to heal ultimately rests on you.
When you feel good - your neurotransmitters have the support they need & your master hormones are optimized (cortisol, melatonin & leptin) - you can start to decipher who is actually trying to provide value and helpful information & who is just trying to incite an emotional response.
